Components of the Business Servicing Layer

The components of the Business Servicing Layer work together to create a logical structure for the data and processes in an application. This logical structure tailors the physical details of data storage to suit the needs of the upper layers of the application. The components of the Business Servicing Layer also act as service providers that respond to requests from upper layers of the application.
